2010 Ford Fusion Sport – First Drive

The first-gen Ford Fusion was a decent enough piece, but came out of the oven too soon. Launched for the 2006 model year, the original exterior design was clean to the point of being bland. The interior was a little low rent in terms of materials and finishes. There was little meaningful differentiation between it and the Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ (nee Zephyr) variants. The optional V-6 was a 3.0-liter player in a 3.5-liter world.
