Green: Audi’s electric concept likely to be based on R8

Fourtitude, the internet experts on all things Audi, has compiled a list of rumors and clues that seem to indicate that the electric car concept expected from Ingolstadt at this month’s Frankfurt Motor Show will indeed be based on the most excellent R8 platform. For starters, a surprisingly detailed initial report from L’Automobile magazine in France went so far as to include the R8 ePerformance moniker, which goes right along with the German automaker’s current naming convention.
