My vehicle of the decade would be my 1993 Honda Civic EX (34 MPG freeway) – - although if it had airbags my 1991 Civic hatchback, which gets consistent 40 MPG+ at freeway speeds (70MPH), would be the winner. <– Retired at 232000 miles (only due to "no airbags") for the heavier EX model which has airbags……
